St Luke’� Green

In late July we invited our existing clients, who had been patiently waiting for St Luke’s Green to

commence, to a ‘sneak peak’ before we opened to the broader community. We showcased our

apartment plans and prices for the fi rst time and have been overwhelmed by the response, with a number of existing clients registering their interest in their preferred apartment immediately.

Since then we have hosted a number of very successful morning tea events at Easts Leagues Club in Coorparoo. Over 200 interested parties from the local community attended with an opportunity to learn a little more about their options when thinking about retirement living.

St Luke’� Green

We are continuing to ask people to register their expression of interest in their preferred apartment and to date and we have received expressions of interest on over 50% of our apartments.

The invitation to register gives pro-spective residents the opportunity to reserve their preferred apartment, and at current prices.

We recently showcased St Luke’s Green at the Brisbane Retirement, Lifestyle and Travel Expo at the Brisbane Showgrounds. It was a vibrant and energising three days and Alison and Cheryl loved being able to talk to people about

St Luke’s Green and the benefi ts it o� ers residents. If you belong to a community group and you’re looking for a guest speaker please call Cheryl. She is happy to meet with groups and talk about St Luke’s Green or simply explain more about what retirement living means and what the current options are.

Plans continue to progress well and we’re currently on track to commence construction early next year. This will be an exciting milestone - to our Brisbane friends - please watch your letterbox early in 2015 for your invitation to the sod turning and blessing of the site.

New facesIn September, Alison joined the St Luke’s Green team. Many of you may have already spoken with her on the phone or met her when you have come into the o� ce. St Brigid’� GreenNow that our Stage 1 residents have settled in, unpacked most of their boxes and are getting to know one another, we opened the Village to the public over a few open days. As a result, over 400 local residents and interested parties have visited St Brigid’s Green during the past three months.

We have received new interest in our fi nal stage of independent living apartments, “Bowen”, due for completion in April 2015. However, we do have a few still available. Should you want further details or if have any questions about your retirement living options or our current apartments, please call Johanna or Joanne.

As the retirement village community have been settling

into their new homes, we’ve been welcoming our fi rst aged care residents and their families. We continue to gradually open our home in stages, so we can focus on creating a seamless transition and introduction to aged care at St Brigid’s Green for our all xxxx? families.
