Welcome to Spring Valley Ranch & Cattle,

We strive to produce long lived, functional, efficient, highly maternal, and production oriented Angus cows built to excel in range conditions. Our cowherd and bulls are selected and developed on forage to produce calves that thrive on grass as well as compete well in traditional feedlot markets. This sale represents our current efforts.

Our production model is simple; but effective: SUN, WATER, GRASS, and MINERAL. In return we ask the cows to calve on their own with lots of Calf Vigor, rebreed in a timely fashion, and bring us a high quality calf. Opens and low producers aren’t tolerated and are culled. There are NO EXCUSES.

Bulls are developed slowly and grown in large pastures so they know how to travel, won’t melt, and will stay sound for years of productive and consistent service.

SVR blends the timeless genetics of Emulation, Rito, Shoshone, Traveler and Wye to produce such animals. Our cowherd thrives on forage, calves easily, reproduces readily, and raises high quality cattle. Our pre-potent bulls pass on their dams’ positive traits.

The Livestock Market is located in the southwest part of town, west of the water tower.Sale Time: 1:00 CST. 2011 Angus Bull Sale

Buyer assumes cost of shipping on females, with a maximum delivery charge of $300 per head anywhere in the continental United States.Wintering Arrangements: SVR will winter your bulls at the ranch until April 30, 2012 at the cost of $300 per head, which must be paid on sale day. Buyer will then be responsible to ship the bulls from the ranch. Buyer still takes ownership of the bull at the time of purchase, and is responsible from time of purchase for disability, death or any other injury to the bull, including infertility. Insurance is REQUIRED for bulls wintered at SVR. SVR will haul the bulls to the ranch.Guarantee: SVR will guarantee breeding soundness for the first 90 days, unless injury or death is caused by the buyer’s negligence. SVR must be notified in a timely fashion of the bull’s breeding disability. SVR will work with the buyer and (i) replace the bull with a comparable animal if SVR has such an animal; or (ii) credit the buyer with the purchase price, less salvage value, at SVR’s next sale.Retaining: 1/3 Revenue Sharing Interest on all bulls in the catalog. Buyer has full possession and full salvage value.
