This festival is celebrated for three days. Millions of Devotees rush to shirdi and Maha prasad is distributed. First day of fesvies is marked with a huge procession which is taken out along with Sai Baba's image and Sai Satcharitra wrien by his devo- tee, Hemadpant. On the main day, water from river Godavari is brought for Shri Sai Baba's holy bath and a procession on chariot is taken around with great devoon. Main temple remains open for 24 hours during final day of celebraons.On Vijayadashami ‘Brahman Bhojan’ is also arranged with Dakashina (Donaon to Guru).On the last day of the fesval “SGavjewan” ( free meal for all village People and devotees) is distributed.
