Vision A province where communities thrive, with the capacity and resources to live, work
and play in ways that will sustain and contribute to the resilience of our environment, economy, and social well being
Mission Building the capacity of decision makers to accelerate sustainability
Philosophy The greatest impact will come from facilitating solutions through partnerships;
sharing knowledge and resources across the spectrum of interests and expertise; and collaborating with leaders

Purpose To bridge solutions for complex problems related to water, waste, energy and food
systems; and build the capacity of decision makers in industry and in municipalities to adopt, innovate, and embrace new, green, sustainable and innovative solutions that accelerate regional prosperity and resiliency to climate and demographic pressures.
Sustainability is: the ability of our economic, ecologic, and socio-cultural systems to flourish and contribute to the integrity and prosperity of these same systems for future generations.
