SILVER ROCK RECOVERY DURING THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS Silver Rock Recovery provides an In-House Counsel and Court Liaison, to provide guidance in navigating the criminal justice system during every phase of the treatment process. From admission to post-discharge, our goal is to help individuals manage their legal hindrances and allow our clients to focus on their recovery and getting the help they need. “I render these services with an understanding of the criminal justice system and experience advocating for treatment as an alternative to incarceration.” - Martin Serra, In-House Counsel and Court Liason Assist the Intake Counselor in communicating with all legal avenues that may hinder enrolling in treatment. Coordinating with defense attorneys, probation officers, and the courts. Provide additional information about our programs and advocate for the prospective client’s participation. Prepare a Letter of Completion highlighting their successful participation in our program (upon request) Send these letters to attorneys, probation officers, and the courts. DURING THE TREATMENT PROCESS POST DISCHARGE Provide have a face-to-face consultation with each client in need of assistance. Maintain contact with the interested parties and keep our clients informed (with appropriate client release). Draft progress letters for court appearances and probation officers. Help clients secure legal representation if they do not have it already. Offer assistance in “cleaning up” clients’ records.
