St. Ann Parish Mission Statement We are called by a loving God

to make St. Ann of Lansing a Catholic community of faith. We are a family of diverse people with various ministries: healing the body and spirit, teaching of God and His love,

united in sacraments and prayer, reaching out to the extended community. With God’s revelation of Himself in Scripture as our guide,

we strive to grow in His Spirit and to fulfill the promise of Christ’s Kingdom.

April 14-15, 2012

Dear Friends,

May the Risen Lord continue to bless you and your loved ones! En-joy the New Life all around us in nature.

When the children return to classes on April 16, they will see a beautiful Easter Corner with lilies, butter-flies, a picture of the Risen Christ, and lots of remind-ers that Easter lasts for 50 days, and we have a LOT to celebrate in the coming weeks. I have served in many parishes, but our own St. Ann Church is home to the most beautiful Easter Display I've ever seen! It is rev-erent, prayer-inspiring, and joyous.... Well done, Brian and Crew!

Grade 3 will enjoy Ice Cream Treats on Monday, April 16, since they turned in the MOST Box Tops for Edu-cation during our most recent collection period. We continue to thank Mrs. Rosemary Duda for the work behind this great project.

See you at McDonald's on Torrence this Tuesday, April 17, between 4-8 p.m. Bring your flyer!

Please continue to pray for our 8th Grade Confirmation Class from school and Religious Ed. Bishop Rojas will celebrate the Confirmation Liturgy at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 22.

Peace,

Donna Lamoureux Miss Sarah Heenan, Mrs. Nancy Pamedis, and Mrs. Mary Oosterbaan com-bined tremendous talents to produce this year's St. Ann Play, "Once Upon a Mattress."

Kaitlyn McHale as Queen Ag-gravain and Molly Roe as Prin-cess Winifred starred in this year's play.

Mrs. Hall's 8th Grade Class delivered over 40 boxes of food to the Lan-sing Food Pantry during Holy Week. The gifts rep-resented the Almsgiving our students performed during Lent.
