Thanksgiving Greetings. . . In any Community, what you receive of it is directly related to what you contribute into it. One’s contribution might be service, prayer, hope or simple love. Our Pilgrim ancestors set the example of what it means to be Community. They survived harsh conditions, some even fending off religious persecution. They looked beyond their own needs, sharing what they had with not only their own, but also with perfect strangers. God placed each of them where they needed to be at that time in history. So He does for us. Let us be thankful for God’s perfect wisdom and plan for our lives and for the special grace He gives us to appreciate not only what he grants us, but also those he gives us to share with. With heartfelt gratitude, I extend my prayers and my love to all of you, my St. Anne Family, not only on this Thanksgiving Holiday, but throughout the entire year. Pastorally Yours, Fr. Tommy & Bandit

ADORATION AWARENESS
“Come to me, all you who labor and are
burdened, and I will give you rest." – Matthew 11:28
The month of November is dedicated to the Holy Souls
in Purgatory. We can help the poor Souls in Purgatory
by spending time with Jesus in adoration and gaining an
indulgence for them.
The Handbook of Indulgences states:
“A partial indulgence is granted the Christian faithful
when they visit the Blessed Sacrament for the purpose
of adoration. When this is done for at least half an
hour, the indulgence is a plenary one.”
“Beside the exclusion of all attachment to sin, even
venial sin, the requirements for gaining a plenary in-
dulgence are the performance of the indulgenced work
and fulfillment of three conditions: sacramental confes-
sion, eucharistic communion, and prayer for the pope’s
intentions."
- Handbook of Indulgences – Third Edition.
There will be no adoration on Wednesday, November 21st and November 22nd due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Adoration will resume on Monday, November 26th. Spend time with Jesus in adoration and this month offer your time with Him for the Holy Souls in Purgatory who Jesus loves very much. More adorers are needed and are always welcome. Adoration is available for all at the scheduled times. If you would like to sign up for a weekly Hour of adoration, please contact: Kathryn Dawson (281-351-0571) or Marty Lang ([email protected] )
