“Whoever wishes to come after Me must
deny himself, take up his cross, and
follow Me. For whoever wishes to save
his life will lose it, but whoever loses his
life for My sake will find it.”
~Mt 16:24-25
Please Pray For…
Those of our Parish who are sick or suffering, especially Robert Jundt,

Setness and Sharon Navarro.
Our sympathy and prayers as a Parish to the families of those who
have died, especially William “Doc” Weiler, father of David Weiler.

Religious Education and Youth
TEACHERS NEEDED We are still in need of some catechists and substitute catechists for Religious Education
and Sunday School this year. Teaching the faith does not require you to be an expert – you simply share your
love of God and His Church, supported by many resources. Perhaps God is calling you to serve in the classroom
for an hour each week! Complete a form in the Gathering Place or contact Michael if you have any questions.
RE BEGINS SEPTEMBER 13! Register now before it’s too late! This week, Catechists will continue training
and getting ready for the school year ahead. This year’s Religious Education program is sure to be fun and
fulfilling for students and parents alike. Parents have an opportunity to participate in a number of social
gatherings and educational sessions while our students dive into a new program to learn more about their faith.
A complete calendar and registration information can be found in the Gathering Place or online at:
