St. Clair County is home to six county parks: Columbus County Park, Fort Gratiot County Park, Fort Gratiot Light Station, Goodells County Park, Wetlands County Park and Woodsong County Park. St. Clair County Parks also operate the Wadhams to Avoca Trail and works with local units of government on development of the Bridge to Bay Trail.

County Parks Information

Funding to purchase Woodsong County Park was made possible with a $290,000 grant from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund administered by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. The Michigan Department of Environmental

Quality provided a $50,000 grant for the addition of a canoe/kayak launch. The St. Clair County Parks and Recreation millage provided funding for the grant local match and ongoing development of the park.

Park Rules • Woodsong County Park is open daily from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. • Trails in the park are for non-motorized use only. • Pets must be kept on a leash. Owners must clean up after their pets. • Admission is free.

About Woodsong County ParkWoodsong County Park is located in the north central part of St. Clair County, off of Abbottsford Road at the east end of Rynn Road in Clyde Township.The 44.5-acre park offers breathtaking views of the Black River valley, and provides fishing, hiking and kayaking opportunities.
