ST. ISIDORE R. C. CHURCH
Our Mission Statement Lord, God, all creation is yours, and you call us to serve you by caring for the gifts
that surround us. May the example of St. Isidore urge us to share our food with the hungry and to work for the salvation of mankind. We ask this through our Lord, Jesus Christ, your son, who lives
and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen. Saint Isidore, Pray for Us.

LORD, SEND OUT YOUR SPIRIT
In today’s responsorial psalm the Church sings out: “Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.” All three readings describe how God has answered that prayer already.
In the first reading from the Acts of the Apostles and in the Gospel passage from John, we read of astonishing events that called cowering disciples to step out of hiding and proclaim news that would condemn them and change the world forever! In the second reading Paul’s words reach out into the future to us: “we were all given to drink of one Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:13).
It is our task to truly pray today’s psalm response. Let us together beg the Holy Spirit to renew the earth by renew-ing the Church, sending many more men and women to serve in its various ministries. Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co.

C.M.A. UPDATE
Parish Goal: $44,500. Pledged: $20,462 Number of Donors: 120 Average Gift: $170.52 Percentage of Goal: 46%
Every gift, no matter how small, brings us closer to our goal. If the remainder of our registered parish-ioners (approx. 1,000) gave $24.00, we would reach our goal! First and foremost, the Appeal supports our efforts to live and share our faith. That is most evident in our 133 parishes. Every parish participates in the Ap-peal, as we should, because the Catholic Church is structured in a way that is universal. We are not just about our community or our immediate neighbors. The Appeal’s work in this area of Living and Sharing our Faith includes important support for religious education programs for public school children, faith formation for those receiving the Sacraments, and vocations for the formation of our Priests, Deacons and Lay Leaders.
RESPECT LIFE
Religious Liberty is not only about our ability to go to Mass on Sunday or pray the Rosary at home. It is about whether we can make our contribution to the common good of all Americans. Can we do the good works our faith calls us to do, without having to compromise that very same faith? Without religious liberty properly un-derstood, all Americans suffer, deprived of the essential
contribution in education, health care, feeding the hungry, civil rights, and social services that religious Americans
make every day.
2012-2013 A school-year’s worth of events are planned.
