Epiphany Parish has a job opening for a full-time Youth Minister/Pastoral Associate. This posi-tion is of great importance to our parish. It is a full-time position with benefits addressing youth ministry needs AND broader parish initiatives being implemented with
our ongoing parish planning. This role is not solely involved with youth ministry. It offers some exciting
possibilities to grow our involvement as a parish of more deeply committed disciples with youth and adults.

Baptism Class will be held today, Sunday, May 20 at the Epiphany Parish Center from 12:30-2:00PM. Baptism 1 is for parents who are having their first child baptized or have never attended a baptism class at Epiphany Parish. Baptism 2 is for parents who are having their second and beyond child baptized. No preregistration necessary; parents are encouraged to attend class be-fore the birth of the baby. Epiphany Parish Guild May Social will be held on Monday, May 21 at 5:30PM in the Holy Family church hall. All women of the parish are invited. Join us for fellowship, appetizers and dessert.

Live-Streaming of Ordination Masses: The Archdiocese of Dubuque will live-stream the
Transitional Diaconate Mass on May 25 and the Priest-hood Ordination Mass on May 26 from the Cathedral of St. Raphael. All are invited to watch online at www.DBQArch.org/Live to join in the celebration and prayer of thanksgiving. The live broadcast of the Mass of Ordination to the Transitional Diaconate will be-gin at 7:00PM on Friday, May 25. Joshua Link, James Goerend, Thomas Heathershaw, Michael McAndrew and Tyler Raymond will be ordained for service in the Order of the Diaconate in preparation for priesthood or-dination in one year. The live broadcast for the Mass of Ordination to the Priesthood will begin at 10:30AM on Saturday, May 26. Jacob Rouse and Andy Upah will be ordained for service by the Most Reverend Michael O. Jackels, Archbishop of Dubuque.
All grandparents are invited to participate in the Grand-parenting: Leaving a Legacy of Faith conference, a day to celebrate the important role of grandparenting in family life. Connect with other grandparents and hear from dy-namic speakers on how to leave a legacy of faith for your children and grandchildren. The day includes keynotes, breakout sessions, Mass with Archbishop Jackels, lunch, and more. The conference will take place on Saturday, August 25, from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at St. Mary’s in Waverly. Deacon Jacob Rouse who is being ordained to the Priesthood on Saturday, May 26, is the grandson of Coriene Tevis; former mem-ber and long-time church secretary of St. Joseph Church. She was a very
important part of his call to the priesthood. Deacon Jacob and his family are members of St. Patrick Church in Cedar Rapids. Please continue to pray for an increase in Vocations.
Happy to Announce - The Parish Festival is scheduled for August 26. Once again, this is the Sunday before the school year be-gins. I know students (and maybe teach-ers, too) are more interested right now on when this year ends. However, I am happy to announce that the chairs for the Festival this year will be Dave & Laura Bernemann.
The vice-chair's are Tony & Kristy Marquis. Organiza-tional meetings will be arranged soon. We have excel-lent leaders. Please work with them for another great festival!
We Welcome... Nick Radloff, a seminarian for the Arch-diocese of Dubuque who will be with Epiphany Parish for a summer internship. He's introducing himself this weekend. I hope you have the chance to meet him soon. Summer goes by fast. It will be especially filled for Nick who not only is interning in our parish, but is also en-gaged in chaplaincy training at Mercy. Welcome Nick!
Fr. David Kucera will be celebrating his 20th year of Ordination to the Priesthood on May 23rd. The parishion-ers of Epiphany Parish are asked to help him celebrate with a card shower. Fr. ing our goal and greatly appreciate your support. There are still several envelopes on the bulletin
