There are now yellow signs on the opposite side of the road from school. These have been issued to try and alleviate the parking problem at drop-off and pick-up times.
We appreciate your co-operation. Stay & Pray: Our first Stay & Pray next term will be held by Class 5 on Tuesday 7

March. They will all be at 9.05-9.15. If Parents wait in the Foyer, you will then be taken up to class. Sacramental Programme: The next session of the programme will be held on Sunday 12
th March, straight after the
9:30am Mass. It is imperative that all Y4 children attend. Zumba with Ruth…… Classes will resume Wednesday 22nd February. Zumba classes are held by Ruth Sutton – a qualified Zumba instructor. Classes are 8pm-9pm, £4 per person. Come along with your friends and exercise in a fun
way. Please come and support these classes. As they take part in the school hall, these weekly classes help support our school. Health Week: Health Week is here again! The children have had a great time this week! We have had lots of visitors to school. PLEASE ENSURE THAT ANY OUTSTANDING PAYMENTS ARE MADE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. School Council Coffee Morning: On Friday 17
th February, our School Council will be holding a coffee morning. The choir will also be singing at
it and our Digital Leaders will be available at the ‘SMART Bar’ to answer computer problems that you may have. Details to follow. Tunley URC: COLIN BALLS MAGIC LANTERN SHOW - Saturday 25th February at 7.30pm. A series of Audio-Visual programmes on various subjects from Victorian times through to the present day. To include 'Wigan' and 'Farne Islands Seabird Spectacular'. All presented to Colin's usual high standard. Previous shows have included:- 'The Falkland Islands' and 'Sri Lanka by rail'. Tickets £7 (Refreshments included), available from Tel: 01257 463407/425330/426252. Half term: School closes for half term on Friday 17
th February and we return on Monday 27
th February.
School Dinners: Remember that you can have school dinners on any day of the week- not just Friday Favourites. Could we also please ask that dinner accounts on Parent Pay are kept in credit. Please note that if you order a themed lunch for your child and return the slip; it will be presumed that your child will require the lunch that day and you will be charged accordingly; unless the Office is notified in advance.

Every Friday, attendance tickets are counted and the winning team gets a mark on our attendance chart. At the end of each half term
members of the winning team are awarded an extra playtime.

It is important that as well as having a good attendance rate, your child arrives at school on time. Missing parts of lessons can affect academic
progress and stability. Late comers will receive Punctuality letters reminding them of the effects
of being late for school. FOR SAFETY REASONS, IF YOU ARE LATE, PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILD INTO
THE SCHOOL OFFICE RATHER THAN SEND THEM ALONE FROM THE CAR.
