Breakfast 101
(Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!!)
The children will gain kitchen skills that will allow
them to prepare complete breakfasts and compete in
a breakfast showdown on Thursday.
Each camper will receive an apron, a spatula, and a recipe book

Cost: $90 (checks can be made out to Holly Arra)
Ages: Entering Grades 2-5
Location: Campers will be dropped off and picked up
at the main office.
Cupcake Wars
The children will learn to work together as a team to
prepare cupcakes for baking, frosting, decorate and
display their cupcakes. Each day will give them more
skills to compete in a cupcake showdown on Thursday. Each camper will receive an apron, measuring spoons, and a
recipe book

Chopped Camp
Does your child love to watch Chopped? Our campers will work in pairs to
prepare various meals throughout the week, which will be tasted and
critiqued by our mystery judges. Mystery ingredients will be added to
the mix!

Time: 5-7 p.m.

How to be a Kitchen Rock Star!
Let’s take simple ingredients and learn to make no
recipe meals, strategies for grocery shopping, fun
ways to menu plan. We will finish up the week with a
cooking competition to see who is a Kitchen Rock
Star! (Each camper will receive a personalized apron and a recipe book
with at least 25 recipes)

Summer Sensory Exploration Camp
Have a child with sensory needs? Irritated by clothing, sounds, visual stimulation,
or constantly chewing on clothes, non-food items, difficulty remaining seated,
always “on the go”, seeking a lot of input to their body throughout the day?? Do
they struggle with gross motor coordination, body awareness, and endurance???
Join us as we work to explore your child’s sensory needs, engage in sensory
activities to meet their needs, and leave with strategies for use in school and at
home.

“Minute to Win It” Fine Motor Skills Camp!
Minute to Win It Fine Motor Skills Camp is designed to address needs in the areas
of upper body and core strengthening, fine motor coordination and strength. We
will also work to better develop and use visual motor, visual perceptual skills to
conquer daily “Minute to Win It’” challenges with friends!

Blaze the Trail of Independence
*Self-help, self-advocacy, independent living, and social skills*
Blaze the Trail of Independence is a camp developed by an Occupational and
Speech Therapist, designed for children needing to improve independence in self-
care skills such as managing clothing, self-care/hygiene, daily living skills, as well
as basic conversational skills, emotional competence, problem solving, cooperative
play, and group decision making, through daily trail blazing adventures (inside or
outside depending on the weather and skill being addressed).

Language Learners Camp
Language Learners Camp is designed for those kiddos who need extra
help in basic concepts of expressing and understanding language. Topics
include sequencing, reading comprehension, following directions, grammar,
and much, much more!

SPEECH SQUAD CAMP
The Speech Squad Camp is focused on phonological awareness, which
is a predictor of long-term reading/spelling success. Specifically, this camp
will emphasize production/auditory interpretation/and understanding of
various speech sounds, as well as the manipulation of those sounds within
syllables, words, and sentences.
