Heavenly Father, You give strength and hope to those who trust in You. As one who follows You, I rely on

You to give me courage to take up my cross daily. On the days when the weight of my personal cross seems overwhelming, remind me that I am on the path of faith, following Your Son to glory. Keep my mind and my heart on the ultimate prize: a dwelling place in the house of the Lord. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. Reflection: Am I often troubled by useless worries and petty anxieties? Do I need to remind myself that, with the Lord beside me, I should not be afraid?

Scripture Reflection: In today’s Gospel, Jesus prays,” I have given You glory on earth by finishing the work You gave Me to do.” Good stewards follow His example by using their time and talents for the glory of God. Living Stewardship: We are grateful

this week for all stewards in our parish whose giving-whether of alms or of service– will be an expression of gratitude for what the Father has given them. Let us pray that as gifted stewards, we answer the call to share what we have with others to express our gratitude to God, our Father.

SACRIFICIAL OFFERING

Attention, history buffs! On Sunday, June 4, 2017, the Polish American Museum in Port Washington will display two new exhibits. The first is a collection of World War II Polish Commando Unit artifacts. The second, a retrospective display about General Anders, Polish 2nd Corps, titled “Trail of Hope,” is a temporary exhibit on loan from the Polish government. Both exhibits will be introduced and dedicated by representatives of the US military (retired) and Polish government. A reception will follow the program. The museum is located at 16 Belleview Ave. in Port Washington. For directions or information, call 516-883-6542.

Throughout this week, let us

reflect on these comforting

words as we confront fears, real

or imagined.

This week’s second collection is for the Catholic Communications Campaign. Your support helps spread the gospel message!
