You will not only benefit personally from being part of this study; you will also help to bring about a profound renewal in our parish as we grow closer to Christ. St. Louis King France will begin Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible Thursday, Nov. 2 after 8:30am Mass. The study includes a series of eight informative and engaging half-hour videos presented by Jeff Cavins. Each video will be followed by a lively group discussion. You will receive this color-coded Bible Timeline Chart, a Bible study workbook, and the ability to stream the study videos online at your convenience.

Fr David Caron, O.P., Vicor for Evangelization, spoke to 22 members of our SLKF transition team on Tue. Oct. 3rd, offering many interesting ideas on how to move forward in implementing the Synod Program, as well as synthesizing those goals with those identified in the parish self-assessment. We would like to thank Fr. Caron for his input and tutelage, and to everyone who was in attendance, helping us move our Parish in a direction that best suits and benefits our parishioners.

2017 Archdiocesan Priest Convention

Over 400 priests from across Louisiana gathered in New Orleans for a convention the week of September 18th. In addition to the talks presented, we were privileged to have the pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima for our opening day, and hear from Cardinal Dolan of New York.
