The first date which St Mary’s Church will be open for private prayer is next week: Sunday 28 th June – 10am till 12pm (Please note St Mary’s Church will not be open before the above date. Please also be aware that we are uncertain of how many people will come to the Church for private prayer and can only open for a short time due to the strict health and safety measures in place, as well as the limited capacity due to social distancing. Therefore you may have to wait to enter the Church. For more details please see the ‘Welcome Back’ message in the box opposite.) Sunday the 21 st June 2020 – Twelfth Sunday Year A Anniversaries & Recent Deaths We pray for the Anniversaries of: Catherine (Rina) Small, Rita Teehan Hearty, Edward Vincent Hearty & Margaret Reilly Feast Days: Monday – St’s. John Fischer&Thomas More Wednesday – Birth of John the Baptist Saturday – St Cyril of Alexandria We are so looking forward to welcoming you back to the Church for private prayer. We are asking you to prepare yourselves for this spiritually, of course, but in these new circumstances physically too. We have done everything we can to create a safe environment for you; - When you arrive a pass-keeper will meet you and guide you to a safe place to pray and will be on hand to look after you during your visit - We ask that everyone wear a face covering in the Church - For your wellbeing and that of your brothers and sisters in the parish we must observe social distancing - When you visit the Church you will be invited to sanitize your hands - We also ask that you observe the one-way system, entering and leaving the Church by different doors. It is wonderful for us to be able to pray again in the Church and we look forward to the return of public Mass in the near future. St Mary’s will open for private prayer on Sunday 28th of June from 10am-12 Noon, St Isidore’s, Biggar from 11am-2pm and St Mary Magdalene's, Forth from 9.30am-11am. We hope to offer other opportunities for private prayer in the weeks to come as things continue to ease and we are better able to assess the success of our health and safety procedures. Many thanks to all our volunteers and to our parish coordinators.
