• If your child is absent then you must ring the college in the morning to explain why. • You must also send them back in with a note from yourself as this is a legal requirement.

• If your child needs to sign out during the college day, you must send them in with a note to explain.• This must then be authorised by the Head of Year / Progress & Aspiration Coach before they can sign out.• If they come back in later that day they must also sign back in at the attendance office.

MEDICATION If your child requires medication then it must be sent into college in its original packaging. It must have your child’s name on it. It must show how many times it is to be taken. There must be a note or signature to show you give consent for your child to take this in college. It must be given to the school nurse in the morning.

spare with the school nurse
