Altar Flowers Needed Altar flowers are needed for our Sunday morning worship services. The following dates are still open: May 26, and June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Please contact the church office for more information.

Health Ministry News

Health Tips To Lower Cancer Risk 1. Cut down on sugar. It causes inflammation, a factor in cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer's. 2. Lose weight. Extra pounds increase risk of cancer in esophagus, pancreas, colon, kidneys, thyroid, and breast. 3. Eat less red meat. American Institute of Cancer Research recommends no more than 18 ounces per week, a little over a pound. 4. Wear sunscreen. SPF 30 or higher recommended. Skin cancer is most common type cancer in U.S. 5. Eat more vegetables and fruits; they help prevent cell damage. 2 1/2 cups fruits and vegetables daily recommended.

On Monday, June 3rd at 6:00 PM there will be an Active Shooter Presentation given by Corp. Dave Thomas. The presentation will last about one hour and time will be allowed for questions specific to

our facilities and situation. Please come out to learn what to do if faced with an active shooter. All are welcome to attend. Sponsored by the trustees.
