St. Raymond Elementary School 2021-2022 June 2021—REVISED Dear Parents and Guardians, We are coming to the end of a most momentous year. Much has been accomplished this year and in the last month. May saw 30 of our students receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion and another 38 students receive the Sacrament of Confir- mation. Congratulations to those students. Our grade 3 to 8 in-person learners successfully took Part 1 of both the NYS ELA and Math exams and all students in grades KG to grade 8 took the NWEA MAP Spring assessments. Thank you to our parents for helping our remote learners take these assessments. This final month of school will see us conduct virtual moving up ceremonies for our KG students on June 9th. Our eighth graders will have a limited in-person graduation mass and ceremony on June 11th . We will be hosting Catapult for the Extended Year Program this summer. The program is free but you need to register online. Everyone who was eligible received multiple emails from Catapult regarding the program. Any questions, call the school. We will be collecting textbooks and chrome books or iPads from the remote students the last week of school in the afternoons. We need to collect the devices to perform necessary maintenance for next school year. A schedule will be sent home. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers, my administrative team, the school staff and you, the parents, for successfully navigating this school year and helping to make it as successful as the situation would allow. As our Superinten- dent of Schools, Michael Deegan indicated, we expect to be back fully operational in the fall, with no remote or hybrid options. Lets us continue to pray that the progress made in the last six months combating this virus continues. God Bless! Please note we had our six-month asbestos review. June 2021—REVISED

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are coming to the end of a most momentous year. Much has been accomplished this year and in the last month.

May saw 30 of our students receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion and another 38 students receive the Sacrament of Confir-

mation. Congratulations to those students. Our grade 3 to 8 in-person learners successfully took Part 1 of both the NYS ELA and

Math exams and all students in grades KG to grade 8 took the NWEA MAP Spring assessments. Thank you to our parents for

helping our remote learners take these assessments. This final month of school will see us conduct virtual moving up ceremonies

for our KG students on June 9th.

We

will be collecting textbooks and chrome books or iPads from the remote students the last week of school in the afternoons. We

need to collect the devices to perform necessary maintenance for next school year. A schedule will be sent home.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers, my administrative team, the school staff and you, the parents,

for successfully navigating this school year and helping to make it as successful as the situation would allow. As our Superinten-

dent of Schools, Michael Deegan indicated, we expect to be back fully operational in the fall, with no remote or hybrid options.

Let’s us continue to pray that the progress made in the last six months combating this virus continues. God Bless!

Please note we had our six-month asbestos review. We are
