1. INTRODUCTION
Prism is a horse racing management system that streamlines the Stable workflow process, reducing pain points and improving efficiencies. The system was designed from the ground up with several leading Trainers, documenting and digitalizing the entire stable operations. As a modular, work-flow management tool it has multi-login options for Staff, Suppliers and Owners, all with various security and permission settings. And being cloud based with web, mobile and tablet interfaces, it is your one stop shop to manage all facets of your Stable from anywhere at any time.
This manual outlines how to use the key functions of the system and includes links to video demonstrations for each item.

2. STAFF PORTAL
For Staff, there are some unique screens to navigate in addition to the standard functionality listed the listed in the other Manuals. Unique elements for staff including Notifications and the Task list.

2.1 NOTIFICATION SETTINGS
Notifications is where Prism inform and alerts you to updates within your stable. You can select the channel that you would like to receive each notification in, whether that be web (red icon in notifications menu), mobile (via push notification) or email. To configure your notifications:
1. Check / uncheck the items you wish to be notified about and how you want to be notified
2. Click Save
Listed below are the unique Notifications for Staff: Key Notification types:
New Task Assigned by Trainer A new task has been assigned to you for completion
Assigned Task Updated: The task assigned to you has been updated
Assigned Task Deleted: The task assigned to you has been deleted
Assigned Task Completed: The task assigned to you has been marked as complete by someone else
Task Overdue: A notification of any overdue tasks, sent daily at a specific time
Task Pending: A notification of any pending tasks, sent daily at a specific time

Task Update/Changed: A notification of any changes to a task where you were informed (not assigned)
Any time new notification comes through, a badge number appears in red next to Notification item in the top navigation to indicate the number of new items. Click Notification in the top navigation to see the items from the last seven days and then click on the individual item to be taken to that section of the system for full details.

2.2 TASK MODULE
The task module is unique to the Staff Portal and allows you to see and manage all the tasks that have been assigned to you from the one location.
To view your tasks, click on the Tasks tab. The system will then load all tasks that have been assigned to you and are broken into the relevant categories; trackwork, procedures, transport and general. Tasks that are overdue will appear in red.
Mark Task as Completed
When you have completed the relevant tasks, you can mark them as complete to close the task and notify others.
1. Find the task that has been completed
2. Click on the Mark as Completed button to confirm the completion 3. If required, enter the time and date of completion 4. Click Save.
