OVERVIEW: PROVIDENCE 3

Objective: The Protocol Droid has the directions to the prison. The Padawans and Chewy must protect the droid while she leads them through ship.

INTRO SCRIPTED SEQUENCE 03_01 – ELEVATOR EXIT

The level starts with the Padawans, Protocol Droid and Chewbacca riding on an elevator. The door opens to reveal two B1s immediately in front of them. More B1s are in the hallway and immediately react to the Padawan’s presence. Two B1s guarding a door further down the hallway, make a hasty exit, sealing the door behind them.

DIALOGUE

B1s (Various): “Jedi! Get them!”


GAMEPLAY 03_02 – ELEVATOR HALLWAY

The Padawans deal with the small squad of B1 guarding the hallway and then proceed into the next room where the remaining B1s fled.


GAMEPLAY 03_03 – SUPPLY ROOM

The Padawans continue the chase into a large supply, only to find it guarded by two Trandoshan Concussion Riflemen, patrolling a balcony in the room. The Padawans are engaged by the group of B1s that fled the hallways, now reinforced with some B1 Melee units.

SCRIPTED SEQUENCE 03_03 – CONCUSSIONER REINFORCEMENTS

Concussioner on balcony pushes button, opening door and reinforcements stream through.

TC-38: “The path to the prison room should be just through this door!”

GAMEPLAY 03_05 – SUPPLY ROOM REINFORCEMENTS

After the Padawans deal with the B1s, a group of reinforcements arrive in the room and the Concussion Riflemen leap down from their perch to engage in the battle.

SCRIPTED SEQUENCE 03_04 – TC-38 LEADS THE WAY

TC-38 and Chewbacca approach the panel under the Trandoshan concessioner balcony. TC-38 hacks the panel and opens the door. Party walks through the door on the way to elevator room.

SCRIPTED SEQUENCE 03_06 – SERVICE ELEVATOR CONTROL PANEL

The Padawans finish their battle with the reinforcements and then head after the Protocol Droid and Wookie. Arriving in the elevator room, they find TC-38 working at a control panel that controls the huge service elevator.

DIALOGUE

TC-38: “This elevator should take us toward the prison.”Chewbacca: Questioning growlTC-38: “Why no, I don’t think using this elevator is a bad idea. Why would you ask?”Chewbacca: Angry growlTC-38: “Oh my! I can take care of this!”Chewbacca: Frustrating growlTC-38: “Oh no, that isn’t right.”TC-38: “No I can fix this.”

GAMEPLAY 03_07 – SERVICE ELEVATOR FIGHT

The elevator moves downward but as it travels; various groups of disabled droids (B1 infantry, B1 Melee, B2) begin to come to life and fight with the Padawans. The droids should awaken as waves, but not all droids should come to life. It should seem that the player could be overwhelmed if all


awaken, thankfully they do not… Battle ends as elevator reaches the bottom.

SCRIPTED SEQUENCE 03_08 – THE ARMORY PATROLS

The elevator comes to a stop and the Padawans, TC-38 and Chewbacca exit through a door to find a large room. Patrols of B1’s walk the path in front of them but have not yet spotted them. The Padawans spy a large armament that would serve to take out the patrols, allowing them to proceed forward.

DIALOGUE

GAMEPLAY 03_09 – THE ARMORY

B1s patrol the walkways of the room. If the Padawans can time it, they can take out the large patrols without being noticed by pulling down parts of the armaments on top of the patrols. If they miss, they will have to battle their way through the room.

SCRIPTED SEQUENCE 03_10 – SERVICE ELEVATOR 2

Leaving the armory, the party finds another service elevator leading down to a dark shaft. TC-38 makes her way to the control panel and starts the elevator in motion.

(quick transition walking to door – For angel)

DIALOGUE

GAMEPLAY 03_11 – ELEVATOR INTO DARKNESS

The elevator moves downward as the light gets darker and darker. B1 droids drop onto the elevator from above and the Padawan battles with them. Only the lightsabers and the electro staves of the B1s provide light in this area.


SCRIPTED SEQUENCE 03_12 – DARK HALLWAYS

Finally the elevator comes to a halt. TC-38’s illuminated eyes are seen walking through a dark hallway. A red light glows in front of her as she revels in finding the light switch. The lights begin to flick on one by one through the hallway revealing that the red light was not a switch but the stalk of a crab droid now whirring into action.

DIALOGUE

TC-38: “My it is so dark. Surely there is a switch for the lights in here somewhere!”TC-38: “Oh here, I think I have found it!”TC-38: “Oh my!”

GAMEPLAY 03_13 – CRAB DROID BATTLE

The Padawans jump into action. The Crab Droids block the way forward and swing their massive claws back and forth at the Padawans. The Padawans must avoid the swinging attacks while trying to mount the droids and drive their sabers down into the backs.
