*Location Description (General to Specific): Site is located on the Central Washington
University Campus north of Dean Nicholson Blvd and east of N. Wildcat Way. Immediately north
of the ROTC dorms/barracks is this gated garden area.
*Directions (For Relocation Purposes): Take exit 109 from I-90 and head north on Main St.
through town until it dead ends at E. 14th Ave. Turn right and drive approximately 500 feet to the
four-way stop. Turn left on N. Wildcat Way. In half a block, pull into the free parking lot. To your
east about 300’ is the community garden.

SITE DESCRIPTION*Narrative Description (Overall Site Observations): The entrance to the garden is on the east
side of the SE corner. The site is divided into 24 raised beds used by individuals within the
community. There are numerous water spigots surrounding the site and a compost pit in the center.
In the SW corner is an area set aside with benches and a swing for resting. Also in the SE corner is
an in-the-ground flower garden and a gray-water hand-washing station (wash water is used to water
the garden).
