 Meet Marissa: Barn Coordinat or Please welcome Marissa Margra f as our n  new full time Barn Coordinator! Marissa has several years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician and a PATH Certified Instructor. Her primary role will be managing the exercise, training and care of our program horses as well as tea ching classes. Thank you in adv ance for your support in helping Marissa become familiar with our program, horses, riders and vol unteers! Most Excellent Race: 10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Fun Walk Sunday, June 22, 2014 9am (registration begins at 7:30am) Beaumont School The Race features a variety of fun, family friendly activities and a shaded course through beautiful C leveland Heights. Over the yea rs, the Race has generated over $1,300,000 in funds, providing underwriting and support for the Achievement Centers for Children’s Camp Cheerful! For more information on the Race, or to register, please visit: www.achievementcenters.org  Summer weather policy & Cancellation line All riders are required to wear long pants and closed toed shoes or boots. Sometimes due to heat and humidity elevation, it is necessary to monitor and limit the workload on program horses. The temperature will be monitored and adjustments will be made to classes as n ecessary. If riders are unable to wear a helmet for mounted activities due to the heat, a ground lesson will be offered. Ground lessons give students the opportunity to bond with their horses while learning about safe horse handling and horse care. Make-up lessons will not be offered in the event that we have cancelled mounted lessons and were able to conduct a ground lesson. To find out if we have cancelled classes due to heat or storms, please call the cancellation line 440.238.6200 x255 two hours prior to your class time. Cats to remain outside overnight Please ensure that the Boots and Spurs are not locked in the viewing room. They do not have a litter box inside, and are most effective at their job when they stay outside overn ight-- Thanks in a dvance!
