The quality that is best for your specific application depends on many factors. At the interface between steel producers and the steel processing industry we make sure that the material properties meet your high expectations. We exclusively deliver steel qualities in excellence and we also ensure availability. In the business unit, we have access to 150 000 tons in our stocks of raw material at all times. We can process and assemble according to your specifications.

During many years of contact to the leading producers, we have established an international, reliable network of suppliers that makes it possible for us to not compromise at all in our purchasing. Steel coils are processed on state-of-the-art machines in our specialised locations. The material quality is monitored in our own laboratories at the manufacturing locations.

This is why each individual product that is leaving our steel service centres has been checked carefully and meets our strict quality standards.

Dimple plates

The dimple plates stamped at our locations are used as heat shields or cladding.

Outer panels for the automotive industry and visible components for end users or other industries are made of sensitively processed semi-finished products.

Ultrasensitive surfaces

Processing finished surfaces is a key competence of the steel service centres. Our machinery is therefore specifically prepared for surface-protecting processing. For example, special braking units with belt brakes are available to facilitate an almost perfect surface. Surfaces in an ideal condition are our highest standard.

The machines in the steel service centres are state-of-the-art and meet the highest demands of precision and throughput. In the area of decorative surfaces you have almost unlimited

design freedom within the most important coating systems. At the same time your semi-finished products are protected against corrosion reliably and permanently.

We deliver slit strip the way you can best use it. We offer slit strip in all variations as well as winding rings and small coils.

Slit stripOur machinery – consisting of six slitting systems – is tailored extensively to your specific requirements.

Winding rings and small coilsWe wind winding rings of one to five tons on four winding systems, as well as baby coils of 150 kilograms. This also includes highly-sensitive coloured material.

Sheet metal is divided and cut into formats requested by the customer on ten ultramodern cut-to-length lines and in our cutting centres.

Exact squareness and the tightest cutting tolerances of up to ± 0.2 millimetres make our semi-finished products into an example of precision.

Sheets and blanksWith technological expertise, many years of experience and the latest system technology, our steel service centres have the best conditions for processing coils into sheets and blanks. Our product range comprises sheets of different qualities and thicknesses as well as precision blanks. We are a specialist for custom qualities in our prototype construction for all industry sectors and specifically for the automotive and motor vehicle industry.

With extensive warehousing and very efficient logistics chains, we can guarantee the highest availability. Through our decentralised company structure, you profit from short paths and can request a contact person close to you at any time.

We regard ourselves as part of your supply chain and work on this around the clock to be as efficient as possible. In the process, we are more than just a distributor. If suitable for you, you can partly or completely outsource the procurement and material requirement planning to us, depending on your own capacity.

On request, we also take over the complete warehousing up to material requirement planning and just in time delivery of variable quantities.

Custom-made surface variations and high-precision products from a single source. Our steel service centres combine the local strengths and expertise in processing and logistics of equally traditional as well as innovative plants in one business unit.

In the cold rolling business unit we bundle decades of experience in producing high-quality cold-rolled and surface refined steel strips. In very modern plants, we manufacture cold-rolled strips in the thinnest dimensions and widths up to 1,040 millimetres with the tightest tolerances.

We support our customers throughout the process as a supplier of systems for demanding profiles and prefabricated parts that are made from extruded aluminium alloys. We develop individual and innovative solutions together with our customers in a professional dialogue about the utilised material and the required product.

The steel distribution business unit comprises the warehousing and distribution of steel products and also includes numerous special products. Processing close to the product, such as sawing, oxyacetylene cutting, plasma and laser cutting, creates high-precision work pieces.
