Four factors influencing young people in the process of career

A. Students’ engagement in the study of STEM in school.

inGenious, now in its third year of activity is growing into a mature

network, with proven impact on student interest in STEM careers

and studies – a 20% increase in student interest is

demonstrated through the pilot activities.

Pilot with 180 teachers selected each year- test and evaluate

industry STEM education materials and activities -more than

12,000 pupils directly involved


159 teachers, industry and government

stakeholders from 20 countries in Europe and

beyond convened in Istanbul at the end of August

for a summer school devoted to the future of STEM

education.

About Go-LabWhat is Go-Lab:

The Go-Lab Project wants to provide teachers and students with access to scientificinstruments (remote & virtual laboratories) to help them, respectively, to enrichtheir teaching and have a hands on experience on science. Go-Lab wants to provideteachers with a federation of good quality laboratories to use within theirclassrooms.

Main aim (s):

• Offer students the opportunity to perform personalized scientific experiments with online labs

• Offer teachers the possibility to enrich their classroom activities with demonstrations and access to on-line laboratories
