This is me!

I am a Computer Animation student at Full Sail

University

~MY

ROOTS ~

When I was little, I would watch

LOADS of cartoons

I was immediately enthralled and began

drawing daily

From a young age I

knew I wanted to

be an animator

NOT me

As I grew older, my passion

continued to grow as

well

But…

The universe has a funny way of tossing

up roadblocks

Mine was my High

school art teacher

I had the assignment to create a comic book

She felt mine was too well done for someone my age

She accused me of

cheating and gave me an ‘F’

She wouldn’t listen to reason

So I tossed away my

sketchbooks and

pencils…

…and didn’t pick them up

for 20 years

Fast Forward to

2013

After a bit of

convincing from my

wonderful girlfriend

I am now halfway

through my degree

program…

AND maintaining

an A average!

AND QUALITIES

Though my earliest

works are long since

gone…

I have begun rebuilding

my portfolio

My Wurlitzer Jukebox

My Lightsaber

I am well versed in both

Maya and Photoshop

I can also do lighting, texturing

and rigging.

~EXPERIENCE

AND GROWTH

I have a plethora of

non-art skills that make me valuable

I can work under deadline

and I can PROBLEM SOLVE!

I can work in a team AND

independently

~DEFINING

MY SUCCESS

I plan to be a 3D Generalist with Pixar or DreamWorks

I will move up to hard

surface modeler or

environment modeler

I will move into Technical Director then

full on Director

With these goals realized I will achieve my ultimate

goal…

To work on a major motion picture

Eventually, I would like

my own indie studio

In the end I want to be

able to point at the big

screen and shout…

“SEE THAT! I

DID THAT!”
