Learning ObjectivesAt the conclusion of this activity, the attendee can expect to be able to:

Employ electrophysiology, OCT and other aids to distinguish and differentiate visual loss•Assess the clinical outcome of non-demyelinating optic neuritis and central nervous system white matter changes•Assess the evidence in support of tear dysfunction •Implement treatment of tear dysfunction based on severity •Discuss options for surgical management of corneal epithelial stem cell failure, including amniotic membrane and auto/limbal transplantation •Discuss characteristics and use of Femtocataract surgical technology and the use of various technologies to more accurately predict IOL powers •and axis determination for toric IOLs

Describe techniques that can be utilized to refixate dislocated IOLs•Analyze the use of OCT to evaluate preoperative cataract patients•Diagnose structural abnormalities by gonioscopic exam•Review landmark glaucoma studies for glaucoma management•Discuss surgical options for glaucoma patients with cataracts •Effectively screen strabismus patients for underlying neurological disease including cranial palsy, demyelinating diseases, mitichondrial diseases •and brain tumors
