EXT. 3 BOYS ARE WALKING THE FOREST

MAXI don't think i've introduced myself properly yet, hey i'm Tom! i'm new to the school

LEOHmm, i haven't seen you before...You alright?

SCOTTYeah, hi. (sounds uninterested)

Are we supposed to wait for the teacher to come back?

LEO(takes charge) Nah she left ages ago, all she does is put everyone into groups of three then pisses of to the cafe.

MAXTake a look at this map, its real confusing

Max hands Leo the map.

LEO(laughs) we don't need this map! I know these woods like the back of my hand! I've been in here hundreds of times. Nothing could ever happen in here to suprise me.

Leo receives questioning looks from Max and Scott

EXT. MIDDLE OF FOREST HOMELESS MAN WITH A PARROT ON HIS SHOULDER. HE IS COOKING WITH A POT OVER A FIRE-LATER THAT DAY

MAX(nervously) h-hello,we, we are a little lost

LEO(interrupting) well we have wondered a little out of our way

MAXDo you think you could direct us to the visitors center?

HOMELESS MANWhy go there? sit down, have some freshly made, freshly made, err, soup! Yes, I insist you stay! Sit down make your self comfortable. You can have some right after i feed my parrot.

The homeless man takes the bag from the parrot looks at it puzzled, shrugs and stirs it into the soup. The parrot then eats some and flies away immediately.

HOMELESS MANPeter come back! Where have you gone??

He walks round in circles looking for the bird

LEORight, this guy is mad!

Huddles the 3 of them together with there backs turned to the man

LEOWe need to go right now.

MAXBut im hungry, he's not that bad, just cause he smells abit perculiar doesnt mean he's going to kill us or anything, i think we should stay for food then go.

SCOTTAgreed.

Behind them in the same shot the man is searching for his parrot still when a he is knocked over by somthing just out of camera shot. He then gets to his feet and somthing huge sweeps down and carries him off.

The three boys turn around

MAXWhere did that dude go?!

LEODon't know, don't really care

SCOTTLook he's left his food

Without thinking all three boys take a spoonfull. their eyes change to colour to white, they slump to the floor.
