The whole of the music video was shot in suburban Wimbledon, where Jamie T grew up. This features train shots.

The video was shot in suburban Wimbledon this is where Jamie grew up and lived. I think he used these particular locations as to show people where he grew up. The song is about Jamie’s friends and what he did as a teenager, and what it is like to be a teenage boy in London today. Like many songs Jamie tells a story of going back and seeing old friends. For example "boys like *him* don't shine so bright“ changes to "boys like *us* don't shine so bright“.

Clothing

The clothing throughout the clip is casual, but however the fashion fits in with the tone of the song. The fashion also fits in with some of the lyrics of the song, “they wore chequered seasoned wallabies buttoned shirts and whiskey” this mod fashion fits in with the constant mod feel to the song.

Cinematography

There is a wide range of long shots and mid shots. This has been done to create an effect of location and facial expressions. I think this gives a good idea of the type of people this song may be aimed at and gives the audience that sense of location so that they can feel part of the video as they may have been their.
