New Ministry to the Children in Vista Estates
We will be starting a new ministry to the children in Vista Estates. Many of these children are fairly new to our coun-try and are still learning the English language.
The children in Vista Estates will be meeting in the home of Shaniese Quist, who lives in Vista Estates. Shaniese is the Director of Youth for The Bridge. We will need adults who are willing to help with this ministry. We will be providing a light meal, a Biblical lesson, plus a craft and a game that reinforces the lesson.
Our first meeting time will be on Sunday (today), October 17, from 2:00-3:30 pm. If you are interested in helping with this ministry please contact Joan Rude at the church office.
Bibles to Third Graders
One of the greatest joys of our Sunday School ministry is pre-senting Bibles to our third grade students. We will be presenting those Bibles on Sunday, October 17 (today) during our 10:00 wor-ship service.
UMW Invite!
All women are invited to our Circle 3 meeting on October 21, at 9:30 a.m. at the church to decorate small pumpkins for our church’s shut-ins. Please bring glue, silk leaves or flowers, rib-bon for decorations.
If you are unable to attend the 9:30 a.m. group you are invited to attend that evening at 6:45 p.m. at 804 Emerald Drive.
Call Pam Milbrandt @ 732-7600 if you have any questions.
