TEENS & TWEENS
Storytimes
We offer a variety of storytimes for children ranging from babies to preschoolers. These fun, interactive programs are designed to engage your child and lay the foundation for a lifetime of reading and learning. Each 20 - 30 minute staff-led session is followed by a parent/child playtime.
• Preschool Storytime - ages 3 to 5 years old
Tuesdays July 3, 10, 17, & 31 at 10:30*
• Toddler Storytime - ages18 months to 3 years old
Thursdays July 5, 12, & 19 at 10:00*
• Baby Storytime - ages 0 to 18 months
Thursdays July 5, 12, & 19 at 11:00*
• Saturday Preschool Storytime - ages 3 to 5 years old
Saturday July 14 at 10:00
• Family Storytime - all ages
Monday, July 30 at 6:30
*No storytimes the week of July 22 - 28.
Register your child for a 15 minute, one-on-one reading session with a registered
therapy dog.

Workshop. Make your very own cigar box
guitar and get tips on how to play it at this
free workshop. Tools, supplies and building
instruction will be provided. Registration is
required and space is limited.
Sat. July 21st, 3:30 AniMebane Anime Club.
Learn to create a one-of-a-kind fashion
statement with a plain t-shirt and a variety
of altering techniques! We’ll also watch
anime, of course! It's free! (Please bring your
own t-shirt or contact the Mebane Public
Library if you need one provided for you.)

Thur. July 19th, 4:00-5:30 “Libraries Rock” Family LEGO Time! Come construct with LEGO building bricks
and take the one-scoop challenge! Creations made with one scoop of bricks or less will be displayed in the
library. All ages welcome!
Fri. July 20th, 4:00 Gem Wagon Mining! Come mine your very own gemstone treasures! Registration is
required. Rising K - 5th graders.
