Strads Design was founded in 2003 by Mike Loh, a highly reputable furniture designer with 24 years of experience in furniture design and manufacturing.

In 2008 Mike Loh launched his own furniture collection. With the success of his new and inspiring range, Strads Design has continued to develop and launch numerous new collection every season.

All About Strads Design

Strads Design is a globally recognized Singapore company known for inspi-rational design and extremely high standard of quality and workmanship for contemporary furniture developed for both commercial and residential mar-kets. Our furniture collections are designed by renowned designers from Sin-gapore, Portugal, Denmark, Belgium, Spain and Australia.

Singapore is both an insular city-state and an economic giant, which tremen-dous progress over the last three decades has transformed into a top inter-national hub. The determination of its government and population built a country now renowned for its quality of life, cultural blend and stability. The people of Singapore efficiently support the country through hard work and respect of rules.

Being a Singapore Company, Strads Design developed within the same prin-ciples. Our company led by a group of international management team man-ages our daily operations from design to manufacturing. We believed in pro-viding a high standard working environment to all our workers, unites the members of our company and result in quality and excellence of all our prod-ucts.

Michael Strads with its own team of designers from Singapore, Denmark, Spain, Portugal and Barcelona created an exquisite range of designer’s furni-ture which was immediately overwhelmed by all over the world. Each piece of furniture was uniquely design for highest quality and excellent craftsmanship.

Niels GammelgaardDENMARK

Architect MAA Niels Gammelgaard, is educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Graduated in 1970 as industrial de-signer. Before graduating, Niels founded his first architect studio Box 25 ar-chitects.With Pelikan Design, his second stu-dio, he worked with many Scandina-vian and European companies, e.g Fritz Hansen, Bent Krogh, Cappellini and Mateo Grassi. Niels has many years of experience in industrial de-sign, and knows how to make a de-sign comfortable.

My Mission:

I want to do good with my design.I want to make the ordinary life a little bit more comfortable, a little bit more enjoyable, a little bit more clever with my design. Every little detail, on every product has to fulfill my do good mission.I want to explore the core of design. I want to make more out of the design, finding the core benefit of design that will do your life good.

Bruno ViegasPORTUGAL

Born in Olhao south of Portugal, in 1981, he’s graduated with a degree in Communication Master Design. Af-ter his degree, Bruno first tenure was in the design sector, designing a long line-up of products and soon becom-ing the creative director on leading companies in the Portuguese and in-ternational design scene.Is experience at international fairs since 2005, makes its products very special but at the same time functional and commercial.

Bruno’s work is intuitive and eclec-tic, characterized by elegance often matched with a playful, magic touch. He redefines decorative arts for the contemporary age, uses innovative technologies and materials with re-markable design sensibility, and cre-ates atmospheres and objects with a strong emotional effect.

Jordi DedeuSPAIN

Jordi Dedeu studied architecture at the Escola Tecnica Superior d’Arqui-tectura of Barcelona and sculpture at the Massana Art & Design School. His sculptures were presented at a number of famous International Fairs in Ghent, Torino, Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris, Santa Fe, Boston, Barcelona and others. Following his passion for furniture design, Jordi continued his studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia for a Master degree in Design and Products Development and at the same time was working as Design Director of a Spain Furniture

Company.His own company founded in 1989, provides design services to furniture, upholstery and lightning companies and since 2006 most of his work dedi-cated to contract business, developing projects in England, Russia, Morocco, Malaysia, Colombia, Panama and Chi-na.Starting by providing design services to European Companies producing furniture in China, nowadays Jordi de-velops collections for Chinese facto-ries including upholstery, wood, stain-less steel, marble and ebony furniture for both indoor and outdoor use. His recent designs have been presented in Shanghai and Guangzhou Fairs, fol-lowing with Milano furniture fair, and many of them have been awarded with design prizes.

Factory Introduction

Our production line of a complete one-stop operation from skilled craftsman with full operation machinery, upholstery department, sewing department, fiber / foam department, spray/paint facilities, metal / stainlesssteel facilities, QC department and packaging department. Every piece of furniture is completely manufactured in-house to attain full control of our quality.

Strads has been assigned by many renowned hospitality and commercial to design and built furniture customized to their needs.Our Contract Team led by our Singaporean and Portuguese designers is from more than two decades of furniture construction, are highly qualified to pro-vide and advise furniture design consultancy.

Not only we have many collections suitable for contract use but we also cus-tomized designed furniture for individual environment.

R&D

To achieve highest standards for all our customers, every piece of our furni-ture has to pass through our R&D department inspection.

Our team of highly qualified and experienced Singaporean, Portuguese and Malaysian technicians will inspect every prototype furniture to ensure perfec-tion for production.

This process ensures every piece of our furniture is designed for lifetime.
