My name is Pamela Wall and I am writing to you on behalf of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School in Tampa. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School, formerly Most Holy Redeemer Catholic School, has been providing quality education to students from all backgrounds in Kindergarten through 8th grade since 1954. We are planning our annual fundraising event which will take place on March 27, 2015 – a walk-a-thon to benefit the students of the school.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School relies heavily on the generosity of our community and our enrolled families to support new initiatives and provide financial assistance and scholarships to deserving students. Through past fundraisers we have been able to put smart boards in our classrooms, provide financial assistance to families, create a science lab and enhance technology for our students. This year, the focus of our fundraising initiative is technology improvement and enhancing our creative arts program.

Catholic elementary schools build on a legacy of success, faith and excellence. Their mission involves much more that imparting information. It is about parents and educators working together to shape and transform the lives of young people. Our educational programs in grades K-8 further ensure that our students have the necessary academic and practical tools for problem-solving to lay the all-important foundation to meet future challenges. Teaching the Catholic faith and values, worshiping as community, and putting our faith into action through service of others, these are all part of the witness we pass on to students. Our students are recognized as people with strong moral foundation, people of character and determination, people of service, fully prepared to assume leadership roles in discipleship of the Catholic faith for the rest of their lives.

We are actively seeking donations for the “Strides of March” annual walk-a-thon event. I would like to kindly request consideration of a donation, which would be awarded to the student(s) who collect the most donations for the school.
