Simple yet ingenious, the Striker comprises a lower-back belt with patented rings that attach four Slastix® to each hand and foot. With no external body attachments, the Striker provides resistance, which allows athletes to engage in any type of activity—from sports to drills, to working with medicine balls—to build strength in their core, arms, and legs. Streamline training! Eliminate the need to continuously reset misplaced cones. The Juke

The Juke is the perfect game for teaching athletes concurrent defense and offense strategy while simultaneously improving agility and speed. The challenge for the two opponents in this fast-paced drill is to stay with the offense and at the same time stay separate from the defense. Lateral conditioning benefits competitors in any sport, from skiing to soccer to basketball to football. Comprised of a Slastix® joined to two padded ankle straps, the Stride was designed to improve an athlete’s lateral movements and stance, both of which are critical to his or her defense skills. Slideboard

The ideal off-season conditioning tool of many elite sports teams (the nHL, nFL, nBA, etc)—our adjustable-length slideboard simulates the lateral movements of athletes on the ice, field, or court. And unlike the flat-surface slideboard, Stroops’ ergonomically engineered slideboards features slightly curved edges, which conform to the foot’s natural side-to-side motions. Stroops’ lateral power trainer allows athletes to generate explosive lower body strength and power by simulating movements of speed training at varied launch angles. Having a board with dual slants allows you to gradually increase the distance between the angled platforms, which maximizes both the range and strength of your muscle de-velopment. When it comes to lateral strength building, the only limit to how you can use our Stroops Loop is your imagination. Our patented signature Slastix® takes the multi-purpose elastic exercise band and expands and enhances its features. Let’s face it: no matter what sport you play, your ability to jump higher and avoid injury are key elements to your success. Stroops created Explosive Calves to help athletes maximize the extension of the ankle, while developing and building explosiveness in the calf muscles used to jump, run, and sprint. Thigh Blaster™

Stroops Thigh Blaster was designed to engage the lower-body muscles—hip flexors, quadriceps, and abdominals—in fun yet challenging workouts. Two Slastix® attach to an anchor (another person or stationary object) on one end and two thigh blaster straps, which are fastened just above the knee on the other (see photo). As an athlete elevates the knee, the resistance forces the hip flexors, quadriceps, and abdominals to engage. Explosive First Step™

As the name implies, the purpose of our Explosive First Step is to provide the ultimate training tool for sprinters and other athletes for whom rapid acceleration is crucial. To achieve this, we created a short, heavy-resistance Slastix® band that provides up to 150 pounds of resistance when fully stretched. Wearing the padded Power-Pull Belt that attaches Slastix to an anchor (such as a wall) or a training partner (who provides resistance while trailing behind), athletes engage in rapid-acceleration drills, similar to that of a base-runner stealing second base, or a football player exploding through the line. Ruck Sled™

The Ruck is a term used in rugby when athletes battle for position over a ball that is extremely close to the ground. Partner’s Quick Release

The Stroops Partner’s Quick Release was designed to allow athletes consistent resistance throughout their acceleration training while still reaching full speed. Comprised of a universal shoulder harness, 10-foot nylon handle and quick-release strap, our Partner’s Quick Release lets athletes improve stride frequency, strength, and form by providing consistent resistance throughout the sprint. While wearing the harness with the handle attached from the athlete’s back to their partner, the athlete sprints forward. Parachutes

An ideal tool for building the muscles used for longer sprints, the parachute utilizes air and wind to generate resistance. Made of nylon and polypropylene webbing, the parachute is attached to the athlete from a built-in waist belt. When used during sprints or drills outdoors, the parachute responds to the wind’s movements, which pulls the athlete in different directions and at different speeds. Leapfrog™

Perhaps our most versatile product, the Leapfrog was designed to focus on overspeed—or maximum speed—training. Like a game of leapfrog, two partners wearing waist belts are joined via a 4-foot Slastix (see photo) while the two take turns shuffling, back-pedaling, or engaging in a variety of sports-specific performance drills. The Leapfrog utilizes the individuals’ own speed and weight to provide a gradual resistance for their partner as the lead athlete runs ahead of the other until maximum resistance is nearly achieved. At this point, the trailing runner is pulled forward in a burst of speed. As they alternate coaxing each other to spring forward, they adapt to a longer stride while improving their strength. The Insane Bolt 1™

The single man version of the Insane Bolt 2™, the Insane Bolt 1 allows sprinters to transition from the overspeed element of sprinting into a sprint. By attaching the quick release belt to the 10-foot nylon cord, which connects to the 30-foot Slastix, the athlete then anchors the Slastix to a stationary object behind her and walks until the Slastix® is at a comfortable stretch (between 40 and 70 feet). At this point, she runs toward the stationary object, which causes the Slastix to lose tension. now, she can either release herself from the pull at any time (by pushing down on the 10-foot nylon cord), or allow it to release automatically once the Slastix loses tension on the belt, allowing him to continue the sprint free from any external attachments. Insane Bolt 2™

As athletes transition from the acceleration and burst phase into the sprint phase of running, different muscles groups are engaged, each of which requires specific training. The Insane Bolt 2 targets the muscle groups needed to maximize both stride length and frequency—the two major elements of speed—during the sprint phase. The Insane Bolt 2 operates similarly to the Leapfrog™, but with a longer 20-foot Slastix®, it now develops athletes’ form and sprinting strength. With the Slastix at a near maximum stretch (60 feet) between them, athletes begin sprinting simultaneously. The trail runner, propelled by the lead runner’s pull and Slastix® resistance, experiences the mechanics of running faster while opening his stride length; during this time, the lead runner trains within the acceleration phase. The drill ends once the Slastix loses tension. Includes two waist belts and one 20-foot Slastix; also available with one waist belt and one shoulder harness for the trail runner.

The Bolt

This speed product is comprised of a 100-foot nylon cord that attaches to a fixed object via an anchor. The nylon cord is then threaded through a pulley, which is attached to a belt worn by the lead runner. The nylon cord extends through the pulley and onto the quick-release belt worn by the trail runner. Both runners begin to run at the same time. Because there is no elasticity in the Bolt’s cord and the trail runner is forced to sprint at twice the rate of the lead runner, the lead runner should only run at 50% speed. When the lead runner stops, the tension is then released from the cord, at which time the cord will fall off the trail runner, allowing him to continue the sprint with no external attachments. Includes one 100-foot nylon cord, one anchor, one quick-release belt, and one universal belt with pulley.

Don’t let their light weight fool you! As the name suggests, Stroops Chainkillers eliminate the need for chains in weight-lifting by removing all of the drawbacks while delivering all the benefits…and then some. Simply attach the Slastix® at the base of the bench to the actual bar (outside of the collar) and perform your lift as you normally would. Like chains, our Chainkillers provide a gradual increase in resistance during squats and bench presses, the two most popular lifts in weight training. And because Chainkillers utilize Slastix® technology, athletes experience a safer, smoother range of motion throughout the bench press or squat, as well as a higher resistance capacity than even the heaviest chains.
