JORDAN
This is a 3 unit course and is CSU and UC transferable. This course is an introduction to the anthropological study of religion and examines the way religion is lived and practiced in diverse cultures. Topics covered include mythology, symbolism, ritual, magic, and witchcraft; the course examines the role of religion in human experiences of sickness and death and explores contemporary issues of religious change, conflict, and violence.
