INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

The Municipality's fundamental objective is to identify tools and methods to increase the visibility

and international relations of Reggio system.

The internationalization action meets the need to support the territory in a process of knowledge

and meeting with foreign countries, with the aim at fostering the local system from an economic

and social point of view. The structuring of solid international relations in fact will generate new

trajectories and new synergies with the world of production and the third sector of the city, making

it more ready to confront with new markets and more open to change and innovation.

The effectiveness of this action will depend greatly on the ability of the E35 Foundation for

International Planning to assist the Municipality in order to obtain European funding and resources

for its territory. The activation of a transnational comparison function of policies and the exchange

of practices, linked to European funding and facilitated by belonging to international networks, will

also encourage innovation and development for the Municipality itself.
