Foreword The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme), being an

apex training arm of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India has been playing a pro-

active role of facilitating, nurturing, promoting the development of entrepreneurship and

growth of enterprises for more than five decades in our country. ni-msme, has

entrusted task to enhance the skills of unemployed youth in various trades with follow-

up activity and provide them with either self or wage employment under the “Scheme of

Assistance to Training Institutes” from 2009-10 by the Ministry of MSME, Government of

India.

It has been a journey of immense pleasure and at the same time a challenge. In

general, most of youth want to skip the foundational entrepreneurship training and jump

straight to the business, hence the very reason that most people fail. Therefore, ni-

msme, in the training package designed a structured set of modules of both

entrepreneurship and skill development with practical learning that highlight business

development. It is showing positive results bringing together sources and ideas that

have proven to be effective and appropriate both for low-income with little formal

education apart from other educated un-employed. Also in all the programmes personal

development training is also being imparted to their long-term success in business.

As brought out earlier, ni-msme would like to present few more success stories to

present a glance of the Institute’s efforts in nurturing entrepreneurship and enterprises

in many locations of few States. The total credit goes to those youth for their keenness

to learn, hard work in enhancing their skills and by establishing micro to small

enterprises or employed in better institutions and increased their earnings for a better

life.

These cases will continue to inspire the future generation of Trainees. In this context,

we would like to thank the faculty and consultants and also the franchises providing their

infrastructure and technical support, for their commitment and leadership in

implementing the scheme for true cause for the society. We gratefully acknowledge the

carefully selected curriculum and financial assistance provided by the Ministry of MSME,

He came to know about the training programmes conducted by ni-msme trough a Sakshi

Telugu newspaper & various local channels and decided to approach the organization. There

he attended an ESDP program for 300 Hrs. It was entirely a free course which is being

conducted by the Ministry of MSME Govt. of India. He there by decided to join Computer

Hardware & Networking courses for a better career option. He then adopted the gaming

course as he found it interesting.

About Hardware & Networking:

After completing the course Ministry of ni-msme had issued a certificate for his future need.

Therefore with that certificate and knowledge gained through the trainings he become as a

freelancer. With a investment capital of RS.11,000 in July. The hardware & networking

topics taught to him in ni-msme like Basics of Computer, Basics of Electronics, Parts of

computer, Trouble shooting, software installation, Basic Networking are used in his regular

activities.
