With 40% less calories than sugar, DAYELET MARZIPANS is a modern formula of low-calorie carbohydrates and intense sweeteners which substitutes sugar in a 100% of its weight. It is used for making all types of cooked marzipans, such as ‘panellets’ (Catalan dessert consisting on marzipan rolled in pine nuts), almond and chocolate nougats, etc. It provides the same taste and texture than sugar. It substitutes sugar on a ‘weight to weight’ basis in any recipe without the need of modifying the rest of the ingredients or the elaboration processes.
Easy substitution on a ‘weight to weight’ basis (1:1). It is not necessary to modify the ingredients or the weight in the original recipe. It provides the same texture and sweetness of sugar. It provides calorie reduction and low glycemic index.

Preparation method
Mix the almond powder with DAYELET MARZIPANS. Once they are mixed, slowly add the egg whites until achieving the right texture. The amount of egg whites may vary according to the humidity of the almond flour. Cover with a cloth and save in the refrigerator.
