Suggestion and Recommendation
In conclusion, social anxiety sufferers have negative thoughts and beliefs that contribute to
their anxiety. Challenging these negative thoughts, either through therapy or on their own, is
one of the effective ways to reduce the symptoms of social anxiety disorder.
The first step is to identify the automatics negative thoughts that arise when they are facing
this anxiety in public. For example, when they are doing presentation. The next step is to
analyze and challenge them. It helps to ask themselves uestions about the negative thoughts
like ! "ven if I#m nervous, will people necessarily think I#m incompetent$# . Through this
logical evaluation of their negative thoughts, you can gradually replace them with more
realistic and positive ways of looking at social situations that trigger their anxiety.
