EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE CON’T Ministry of Forests and Range – BC Timber Sales, Vancouver BC 2005 GENUS/Silviculture Summer Internship • Entered site plans, amendments and other timer block information into GENUS system to facilitate access of information to other Field Technicians and regional BC Timber Sales staff • Detailed spatial and tabular information to reflect real-world verified data and corrected inaccuracies • Assisted in other duties like treatment assessments, planting checks, regeneration surveys, free growing surveys and flagging boundaries for herbicide layout and data collection University of British Columbia, Vancouver BC 2005 Silviculture Class – 3rd year Class Project STEMS Project: • Collected data that was used to determine how stand growth, development and regeneration in seven different silvicultural systems are affected by residual stand structures and light availability in a five year period after harvesting.
