Dear Budding Scientists Given below area few activities to take you on the oath of research during your holidays.

1. Read about endangered animals and birds of India. Paste pictures of any five of them in a

scrap book and list the following details.

a) Name of the animal b) Original Habitat c) Reason for being on endangered list d) Food Habits e) Steps taken by our Government for their protection

2. These days we rush to a chemist to buy medicines for energy small ailment. Discuss with

your elders at home and in your neighborhood and find out some traditional home

remedies using medicine plants. In your scrap book list the following details.

a) Name of the plant in English and Hindi b) Places where it is commonly found. c) Medicinal Value d) Part of the plant used e) Method of using (as a powder, juice etc)

3. Find the names of two plants growing in ::

a) Desert b) Sea horse c) Plains d) Hilly Areas e) Underwater f) Floating Plants

Paste |Draw neat and colour pictures of them and write 3-5 lines about that plant.

Here are some activities that will help you spend noon time in a very enjoyable way. Design your own

scrap book using paper and eco-friendly material. Be creative and use your imagination to design a

beautiful cover too. Write your name and paste your own picture on the cover.

1.During your holidays try to read at least two story books from the list of books given below.
