For many years Huntley families have been coming together for our annual golf tournament and family fun day fundraiser. This is our major fundraiser for Huntley for the year.

We hope you have a great day on the course and your children enjoy our range of fun activities at the clubhouse. When you’ve finished, get ready to dig deep at our annual auction.

This day is only made possible with the amazing generosity of all our sponsors, who feature in this programme and on our on-line auction site. I’d also like to recognise the huge amount of work that’s been put in by volunteers in the past few months to make this Golf day a success.

WELCOME TO OUR HUNTLEY GOLF DAY 2017

A GUIDE TO THE DAY Golfers are required on course by 9am. Boarders will be transported to the course in time to play. Those not playing golf will be transported to the course at 11am. Non-playing day students may also arrive at 11am

All golfers need to bring their own clubs, balls and tees

Each team will receive their playing card on the day which includes golf rules, etiquette and competition hole information

Please note there is only very limited/no cellphone coverage at the Marton Golf Course

We have some students who would happily caddy for the day. If you would like a caddy please Contact Georgia in the office on 06 327 8049

Please bring CASH (coins and notes) and/or your chequebook. There are no EFTPOS facilities available for food and auction purchases. Boarders are provided a $20 student voucher to use on the day which will be charged to your incidentals account

To simplify the day for our volunteers, we will be operating a chit system for food and activities purchased on the course. Chits will be available at the clubhouse. Please note that these are non-refundable

Items purchased cannot be charged to your Incidentals Account. However we can arrange invoicing of auction items after the day. In the case of extreme weather, where golf is unplayable, an alternative ‘mini-event’ will take place at the clubhouse at 11am followed by lunch and the auction. Parents will receive an alert via the Huntley app advising of this change by 8am

HEALTH & SAFETY

Dress appropriately for the forecast (if you’re not sure bring a raincoat or warm jacket)

There will be qualified first aiders on course during the day. There is also a defibrillator located at the Clubhouse

Golfers please ensure team members are behind the player striking the ball

Parents are responsible for any siblings or other children in their care during the day

A network of two-way radios will be operating on the day. Details will be given during the briefing

BARMarton Golf Club will be operating their clubhouse bar from 11am

Thanks to the generosity of Knopf Honey, drinks at the Clubhouse bar will be subsidised.
