Annual Chili Cook-Off Today!
Be sure to join us for the annual youth Chili Cook-Off this evening, from 5:00–7:00 p.m., in the Family Life Center. You’ll be tasting the best “acclaimed” chili in the county, followed by many yummy desserts! We will also have LIVE music provided by Allen Haines’ band, Sound Therapy.
Admission is free, but please buy voting tokens to benefit our youth mission trips this summer. Vote early and often for your favorite chili to determine our trophy winners. Sure hope to see you there!
Exploring Our Faith: New Sunday School Topic Today
The Exploring Our Faith Sunday School Class begins a new book study today: Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End, by Atul Gawande. This book is a conversation on aging and death, and how the ultimate goal is not a good death, but a good life…all the way to the end.
Presbyterian Day School Registration Begins
Registration for PDS begins this month. If you are con-sidering enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year, the schedule is as follows:

New Youth Study
The youth will be studying The Five Love Languages of Teens, beginning February 2nd. This is a teen’s guide to helping under-stand their own love languages, what motivates and inspires them, and how to be a friend and communicate with your family in a way that makes sense to them.
One Call Now
On occasion, the church uses online notifications for significant information and events. We will soon begin rebuilding our One Call Now list, and will provide instruction on how to opt in for these noti-fications if you choose to receive them.

PW Honorary Lifetime Membership Award
It's time once again to look around for that one special woman who you think is deserving of the Presbyterian Women Honorary Lifetime Membership award. She needs to be at least a 5-year member of this church and an active supporter of PW and its activities. Service to our church counts, but service to PW (in this church) is most important. If you would like to nominate some-one, please send detailed information about her PW and church activities (preferably in a letter that can be given to her with her award), to Marty Taylor at [email protected]. Please send your nomination(s) no later than February 1st.

Church Office Alarm
In the upcoming weeks, we will begin to arm the alarm system in the front office area. We would ask that those who need to enter the office, please do so during normal business hours. That would be Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you have a special situation, please contact Sharon or Yvonne (in the front office), so they can assure your entry will not set off the alarm.
