Lalo & Jamie Rocha will be in Midland to visit for a few days beginning June 26. They will also be giving reports on the work in Mexico City and the progress of repairs to the church building.
We express our sympathy to Jill Holder at the passing of her brother, Glenn Parrott, June 15th. Services were held at Ellis Funeral Home on the 22nd of June.
The Rocha family arrives in Midland from Mexico City on Wednesday and plan to stay until after the Sunday fellowship lunch on June 30. See me if you would like to host them for lunch or dinner at some point while they are here. Some time back our elders asked one of our deacons, Jim Gray, to get bids for sealing and striping the church parking lot. Though he contacted around twenty paving companies only four of them came up with bids, with $10,000.00 separating the top bid from the low bid. We appreciate Jim's good work in seeing to completion this important bit of church property upkeep. Jimmie and Dee Rhoads, Homer and Regina Jackson, and Jim and Brenda Gray left on Thursday to travel to New Mexico for the Red River Family Encampment. They plan to be back in Midland late in the week. http://www.rrfe.org
