Director of Global Supply Chain • The purpose of this position is to manage the Global Supply Chain group

to cost effectively source raw materials, packaging, and finished product to meet the needs of the business. Global Supply Chain also plans production, manages inventory, distributes products to customers, and provides customer service.Responsibilities:

• Manage the sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and contract manufacturing

• Schedule production for the facility and copackers to deliver products on time while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

• Compare sales forecast to current inventory positions and schedule to economically produce while meeting customer commitments.

• Provide customer service to the brokers, field sales force, and customers. This requires decision making on some orders - making calls on which customers receive products in limited supply circumstances, etc., developing special programs with key customers, and establishing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) with a select number of accounts.

Director of Global Supply Chain • Source finished product from overseas facilities. To accomplish this,

Global Supply Chain must forecast its needs regularly, provide updates as the business changes, analyze and identify variances in production versus commitments, and work on the development of new items. Ensuring that the group works together to provide outstanding service to customers at the lowest possible cost.

• The Global Supply Chain group maintains a network of packaging and service providers that assist in the development of new items that can be produced in sufficient scale at the right price point.

• REQUIREMENTS • 6 – 8 + years of experience in Supply Chain Management • 5 + years managing direct reports• 5 + years of experience working with contract manufacturers • 4 + years of global sourcing• MBA preferred• Just in time (JIT) principles• Knowledge of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)• Negotiation experience and training a plus
