WHY WE GIVE Giving back to God, cheerfully and sacrificially, is part of our

for the sake of the gospel.

NEW HOPE GIVES THANKS There are many ways to give thanks to God during the Thanksgiving holiday. Whether through words of encouragement, financial support, or providing food for the hungry, your offering does not go unnoticed. Today we’ll make a point to thank God together

as a church. Look for the special envelope and card in your bulletin.

ANGEL TREE: BEGINS TODAY Angel Tree fosters reconciliation between a child and his/her parent in prison by

purchasing and delivering gifts in the name of the parent. We will need people to purchase gifts as well as deliver gifts. Visit the Angel Tree in the Lobby for more info.

FOR CHRIST - GIVING FOCUS THIS CHRISTMAS All through December, we will join together as a community to help fund a Portland-

sponsored Safe House for youth/teens rescued from Human Trafficking. Please consider taking part in this offering, either through financial support or by helping

our kids collect supplies (see below). Thank you, New Hope!

KIDS TOWN SUPPLY DRIVE Kids Town is partnering with the rest of New Hope in serving Portland youth rescued

from Human Trafficking. Today they finish collecting dental supplies, and December 5th they’ll begin collecting shower necessities (shampoo, lotion, face wash and

deodorant) for the Safe House. Please use discretion when talking with the kids about this project as we are not introducing the concept of Human Trafficking to them, but

instead the issue of teens in need.
