MACC Need More Maps
MACC is in the process of publishing a new city and county map which includes our industrial map. These maps aredistributed to individuals and businesses interested in relocating to our region as well as to local residents andcompanies. Year-to-date, relocation packets including this map have been distributed in 27 states. Our supply is verylow, which means this campaign is crucial. People still request these paper maps as it gives them an overallperspective of our county - it is our most frequently requested item. Tom Roney from Hampton Publishing is handling the ad sales for this publication. If you are interested in talking toTom, please send an email. He will back in Marietta on December 2 and will make an appointment with you.
Happenings
Washington State Community College hosts the annual RubeGoldberg competition with students from the Fundamentals ofEngineering courses participating. This free public program is at6 pm on Monday, November 25th at The Center for Business andTechnology at WSCC - parking in upper lots.
Rube Goldberg is "a comically involved, complicated invention,laboriously contrived to perform a simple operation" and thestudents are creating an invention to zip a zipper. Should be fun!
