CD/radio remote … operating instructions
1. Connect two switches to the remote – this turns the power on.
2. Point the remote at the Sony.
3. Pressing the switch connected to the ( ) turns the Sony “ON” or “OFF”.
4. Ensure CD is selected on the Sony. Insert CD. Adjust the volume level.
5. Press the switch connected to the ( ) and ( ) icons. The first press “plays” the CD and the second press “pauses” the CD.
6. Switch the Sony OFF when finished.
7. Disconnect both switches from the remote to conserve battery life.

SD card … preloaded with operating software
Camera supplied with 2.0GB SD card
Software pre-loaded onto SD card that auto-boots when the camera is turned on. Software enables the switch functionality through the USB connection.
SD card also used for storing pictures.
Replacing the SD card with another, not containing
the operating software, causes camera to use the original Canon software.
Back-up SD cards can be available pre-loaded with software in case of accidental deletion.
