Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center is accepting submissions for the 2021 Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area T-Shirt Design Contest between February 27, 2021 and March 22, 2021. The winning design will be printed on the official 2021 Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area T-Shirt to be released in May 2021. T-Shirt Design Contest Prize

• 1st Place – Design will be featured on the official Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area t-shirt, recognition on social media, in a media announcement, email newsletter and on The Center’s web site.

Design Rules and Guidelines

1. Design may not exceed 10” wide by 10” high.

2. Design will appear on the front of a solid-color shirt.

3. Design will be printed in up to two solid colors. Gradients and transparencies cannot be incorporated. Please use two colors in your design.

4. Design must be wholly original. By submitting a design, you are guaranteeing that you hold original rights to everything in it, that it may be printed on distributed t-shirts, and that it does not contain any copyright material.

5. Limited to (1) entry. Entries can be submitted by an individual or as a collaborative effort.

6. Eligibility: The contest is open to Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area program participants.

7. Entries become the property of Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area and Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center.

8. Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area and Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center reserve the right to make adjustments to all entries, including colors of the design and the shirt.

Submission Rules and Guidelines

1. Entries must be emailed by March 22, 2021 to nfrizzo@jeannegeiger.org

2. All entry emails should have the subject line “2021 T-shirt Design Contest + Designer(s) Name + Design Title.”

3. Include your name, mailing address and telephone number.

How Winners Are Selected

1. There will be two rounds of voting:

o Round 1: Public voting via social media (March 29-April 4)

o Round 2: Top three will be presented to local panel of judges, who will decide on Monday, April 5. Winner will be notified on Tuesday, April 6.

2. Designs will be judged on the following criteria:

o Concept and originality

o Captures spirit of the Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area programming

o Completeness of design and readiness for printing

o Feasibility of reproduction

o Adherence to design and submission rules and guidelines

How Winners Will Be Notified

1. Winners will be notified by email at the close of the voting period, via the information provided during entry. At the sole discretion of Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following:

o Winner's failure to respond to notification within three (3) business days after its transmission.

o The return of an email notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts.

o Winner's failure to provide original design files.

2. Upon contacting a winner and determining that they have met all eligibility requirements of the contest, such individual will be declared a "winner" of the contest via social media, and our web site.

Submission Agreement

1. To release the rights to your design to Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center for the use of the

2021 Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area t-shirt and other promotional items, including, but not limited to: the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center website, social media channels and marketing materials.

2. Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center reserves the right to make adjustments to the winning designs.

3. To abide by all contest rules, agreements and guidelines.

• Prizes will be awarded to top sellers

T-shirt Sale Fundraiser Details

• The t-shirt sale fundraising campaign kicks off the week of May 3rd, in conjunction with Girls Rights Week.

• Participants will sell t-shirts via their own peer-to-peer fundraising page they create through our JustGiving platform. Link will be live on May 3rd.

• The t-shirt selling period will be from May 3rd to June 30th. • There will be awards and prizes for top sales. • What initiative this helps girls with:

o This initiative is part of the Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area Girl Boss Program, where they will learn about business and entrepreneurship skills.

o This initiative will teach the girls about marketing, sales, communication and finances.
