INVITATION TO BID
Bannock County Public Works Road and Bridge
Raymond Road Precast Bridge
Sealed Bids for the Raymond Road Precast Bridge will be received by the Bannock County
Commissioners, Room 101, 624 E. Center St, Pocatello, ID 83201, until 5 PM local time on March
18, 2019. Any bid received after closing time will be returned unopened.
ENVELOPE SHALL BE SEALED AND CLEARLY MARKED: BID OPENING – PRECAST
STRUCTURE FOR THE RAYMOND ROAD PRECAST BRIDGE REPLACEMENT.
The proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud on March 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Bannock
County Courthouse, Room 212, 624 E. Center St, Pocatello, ID 83201.
This bid will provide Bannock County with a precast structure for the Raymond Road Bridge
replacement. Bidders must supply structure as advertised. All deviations from the Pre-cast drawings must
be noted and documented. Alternatives for any deviations from advertised drawings must be presented
with the bid package.
Prospective Bidders may obtain the Bridge Drawings at Bannock County Road and Bridge Pocatello,
Idaho 83204; 208-233-9591, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 6:00 am and 2:30 pm. A
copy of the Bridge Drawings will also be posted on the Bannock County website www.bannockcounty.us,
Public Notices, Invitation to Bid – Raymond Road Precast Bridge.
All bidders must submit with bid, a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of
the total bid. Failure to submit a bid bond will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Successful
bidder will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit an 85% performance bond and an 85%
payment bond. Insurance and Bonding Company should be licensed to do business by the Idaho Secretary
of State and authorized to do business in Idaho by The Idaho Department of Insurance. A public works
contractor’s license for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this project. This project is not subject to
Davis Bacon Wages.
Bannock County reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any and all bids submitted, and to accept
the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of Bannock County.

CONTINGENCY FOR PUBLIC DEFENDER CLAIMS ) February 26, 2019
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Compher murder case has been appointed to the Public Defender’s
Office for representation of Mr. Compher; and
WHEREAS, the Public Defender’s office estimates high costs for investigative and
scientific witnesses in preparation for trial; and
WHEREAS, the Public Defender’s budget does not have monies available for said costs
and previous contingency funds set aside for this case have been exhausted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that payment for FY 2019 claims arising for
professional services in the Compher murder case be paid through contingency funds up to an
additional $50,000, said funds to be reimbursed by the Capital Defense Fund.
